Strike Attack features the 502nd PIR, 101st Division's bayonet charge in Carentan on 11 JUN 1944. Led by Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, Lt. Colonel Robert Cole, the 502nd fixed bayonets and charged the enemy position held by the German 6th Parachute Regiment. The enemy retreated and the key military position was taken during the daring attack.
